How it started: The school captain vote, 1994
Joe and Benny both ran for school captain in Year 12. Benny won by three votes. Joe has asked for a recount at every reunion since, and Benny has said no at every reunion since. Thirty years on, they are settling it with gloves.
"Thirty years I've waited for a recount. This time it's gloves, not votes."
"I won fair and square in '94. Happy to win again in front of everyone."
